We are immediately drawn in by the character that is displayed on this very aged dial. We love to imagine what might have contributed to the discoloration on the face over the years. This dial works so well with the tone of the strap and copper crown! These bold numerals and dark hands contrast perfectly and stand out against our custom machined titanium case. We always enjoy the design and reliability of these fantastic Hamilton 912 movements, and this one is no exception. Very clean lines all across the bridge plate stand out from the gold-plated gears and spiral patterns on the crown and mainspring wheels. Adorned by 17 amazing jewels, and topped off with stainless steel hardware all throughout, this watch was originally manufactured in 1935 by the Hamilton Watch Company in Lancaster Pennsylvania. In this same year, Amelia Earhart became the first person to fly solo from Hawaii to California.
